Location is fantastic, close to everything you need in town and near bus stops, supermarkets, bars, and shops. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Plus, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep.
The bunk beds were incredibly squeaky and noisy, making it difficult to get a good rest. Additionally, the noise from outside during the weekend was extremely loud and disruptive.

One thing that really stood out during my stay was the incredible shared kitchen. It was like stepping into a mini culinary paradise! The well-equipped kitchen had everything I needed to whip up a delicious meal, from all the necessary utensils to top-notch appliances. I felt like a master chef in my own little cooking show, preparing meals with ease and enjoying the company of other guests in the vibrant communal space.

Uptown Backpackers provided a great stay for me in Dunedin. the double bed in the private room was incredibly comfortable, and the bed linen was soft. the room was clean, and although there were a few cobwebs, it didn't bother me. the location was fantastic, with free parking right outside during certain hours. the shared bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the check-in and check-out process was super easy. it was good value for money, and I haven't slept that well in ages. the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 😊.
